I opened my eyes with the welcome of the bright sun rays through the windows. As a habit, I turned my head to see my handsome husband's face. I didn't find me then I remembered about my punishment. I felt disappointed and removed my sheets over my body. Then I noticed a note on the nightstand and the red roses.

I AM GOING TO MANUFACTURING UNIT AS I GOT AN EMERGENCY CALL. SEE YOU AT LUNCHTIME IN OFFICE.

I smiled seeing that note and the red roses. I kissed those roses and kept the glass vase. Then I finished my morning routine. I had my breakfast and cooked lunch for him.

I wanted to go to the hospital to check the little girl who was injured. I informed Shruti over the phone that I will be late to the office. I also messaged Karthik about it because I understood how much he worried about my safety.
