"That place is death throat and no one would accompany such a madness, my friend." The man was waiting for disappointment but found nothing on that face. He was cleaning the dust if ever existed and he was not pretending at all!

The young elf shifted his head to Tae and stated, "Humans love diamond right?" again looked back at the amazed man. He was tall and masculine. Before Cera suggested anything said, "What is your name?"

"John, I am…" his doubtful accent made the boys smile. Clearly, could not settle with what they just asked for.

Cera took out a small sachet from his pocket, smoothly untied it, and brought out three diamonds; put them on the counter across John's sight. 

He thought that elves must be rich that simply carry these gemstones around. It was a rare moral for humans to handle it!

"These two belong to the one who takes us there. And this one to the one who finds us this freak guy!"
