Bab 69: 69 The anger

"Are you even my daughter? Why would you hide something big as this?" Aunt wipes her forehead sighing in disappointment. When Aunt and Uncle turn up unexpectedly, we were stunned and was unable to find the time to hide Maize in the closet or the drawers. 

"Mom I am sorry," Ashley says with guilt evident in her voice, if I were her I would probably hide it too considering she hides it because she doesn't want to disappoint them. 

"Honey, you could have told us, we are your parents. Besides, who would hate this little angel" uncle J says pinching Maize cheeks. Aunt's face softens seeing Maize playing with her fingers. 

"Mom I am really sorry" Ashley breaks down sobbing, I watch her with sadness wishing I could do something to take away her pain. 

I couldn't imagine raising a kid alone. 

"where is that bastard that leaves you?" Aunt screech her face fuming with anger. Cole holds her back when she tried to lunge for Ashley.
