Bab 68: 68 wildflowers

"Ash!?" All heads turn towards me when I call her name from the steps. She turns towards me and looks relief. 

"What are you doing here?" I say nervously, I was scared she'll tell them about their daughter. 

"Well, I was just catching up with aunt," she said grinning. I release a breath of relief unconsciously. 

"You okay?" Cole asked me, squeezing my arms. 

"I thought she's here to -" 

"Lyra come here" I almost jump when Dad's voice looms across the room. Chills ran down my spine, I wanted to choke Ashley right now. She is the reason why I am scared shitless.  

Sweats form in my forehead as I walk towards where they all sit. Cole is whistling beside me probably nervous as me. 

I thought that we will get to meet her daughter first instead of coming here for the big reveal.
