Bab 118: Reunion and Argument

Still mesmerized by the dark-haired girl in white who is picking flowers from a distance, Dave doesn't realize that he has already gone out to the field and started making his way to her.

Anastasia remains unaware of his approaching figure. She has her back on him the whole time. Like always, the flowers have her full attention. With that, she didn't get to see the captivated look that he was giving her.

Dave still can't see her features very well. He is still too far from her. Even then, he finds her existence alone as both mystifying and fascinating. Neither Zen nor Rupert had told him anything about having another resident in the castle, after all. Rather than he was just seeing things right now, he vouched that they didn't really tell him on purpose.
