Bab 134: Botho's Dishonesty

General Jiao-Long was smoking outside and he was met by Ekam, he knew who Ekam was but he did not know why he was there.

"Ekam, it has been a while, has it not?" Jiao-Long said in a familiar tone, handing him a cigarette but Ekam rejected it.

"I quit, I do not smoke anymore." Ekam rejected his offer, he did not care much for smoking because he knew the long-term repercussion and did everything in his power to extend his life as much as possible, not taking into account things he could not control because what was the point of worrying about it?

"That is good to hear, but what are you doing here, Ekam?" Jiao-Long asked him, pulling the smoke in before exhaling.

"I should be asking you that, what do you think you are doing Jiao-Long?" Ekam redirected the question back at him.

"My duty? I am a General. We have your traitor of a General to thank for that." Jiao-Long responded firmly to Ekam, the conversation was calm but the intensity was there.
