Bab 1: CH 1
Izuku Midoriya was dreaming. Not in itself unusual, but this was different from most of the dreams that Izuku has. Izuku's dreams were usually fitful, dark things, often having to do with villains and Bakugou and his dark designs. This was not the case here.
No, instead of a dream that left Izuku frightened and panicked, this dream was much more…. comfortable, he felt like he was floating on clouds, drifting through an endless sky. It was completely strange, to say the least. Still, he's not complaining, relaxation was just what was needed from all the bullshit that I have been going through with Bakugou, All Might, and the league.
He cleared his head, he shouldn't be thinking about them like this, not in one of the few opportunities he had ever gotten to relax.
???: well, that is a rather unlucky lot in life, is it not?
A deep voice startled him as his heart was racing.
Izuku: who's there?
he tried to ask, but words wouldn't leave his mouth.
???: calm down Izuku, you are not in any danger. I simply wish to speak my piece without interruptions. Besides, there is precious little you could do regardless.
It's not like he has a choice in the master so why not. But who are you anyway?
???: I am... a benefactor. YOUR benefactor, to be specific. I've been watching you Izuku, and I believe that you deserve a break. Fate has chosen you to be its punching bag, and I think you deserve more than that. So, I'm here to give you a gift and a few presents. Don't worry, it is not a quid pro quo situation, I am not asking anything in return, beyond that you enjoy my presents.
What sort of presents?
???: you will see, very soon in fact. I believe I have taken up enough of your time, Izuku. Goodbye.
He tried to shout, desperate to speak to this being more, but it was useless. He could feel the trappings of the dream fading around me. He was waking up.
