I heave a deep sigh while leaving the animal shelter and leave my babies inside of the small room. "I can't believe I'm leaving her alone with her babies. It really hurts my feelings." Then, I turn around and face Mikhail…

"Am I a bad person, leaving my babies inside the small room?" I ask.

He strolls closer to me and pats my both shoulders. He shakes his head as an answer. "You did the right thing, Mia. You just want them to be healthy. Also, they are going home tomorrow with you." He explains before he ruffles my hair. 

My lips curve into a smile and respond with a nod. "You are right. Anyway, can we go for dinner now? I'm starving." 

"Well, I know the place. Let's go."
