OPHELIA'S POV

Something bad had happened. 

That was for sure. 

What had happened, I wasn't sure about that. I had to walk over there, didn't I?

I swallowed my fear, but it didn't go away. 

Fuck, why couldn't I move.

Xavier was comforting Aurora while she wept in his arms. 

Please don't look at me.

And he did. 

His eyes met mine, and it did the work. The dullness in his eyes made me take the first step. The pain breaking free making his eyes water made me take the next. 

And just like that, with a little of his madness, a little bit of grief, and a little of my insanity, I was right near him. 

"W- What happened? Is everything okay?"

I clenched my fists and begged for it to be.
