Bab 194: Cat

Evelyn looked around and then at the knife that was a distance away from her. 

Evelyn understood that the chair was kept a little away from the wall. 

'What if I bend the chair?' 

'But that would make a noise.' 

'Will someone come inside running?'

'Are there more people apart from Kyle or Mia?'

'Or are the people that Ma was talking about here.'

Evelyn was debating how to go near the knife. 

'I have to try something.' Evelyn was sure of this. The only way to survive right now was to try. 

Evelyn jerked her body. 

'I should try to bring the chair near the knife.'

'Just a little more.'

'Almost there.'

Evelyn's body was sweating as she tried to keep her breathing in check. Evelyn did not want to overexert herself as she knew that she would need energy if she was able to save herself.
