"How are you liking it here?" Alexander asked with curiosity. He knew Evelyn was used to staying abroad, and it reflected from her behavior as well, but Alexander hoped Eve is comfortable here.

"I have always liked it here. It is like coming back home." Evelyn said with a smile. This a home that made Evelyn have both good and bad memories.

"Home.." Alexander murmured, "Why did you go abroad? For studies?"

"You can say that" Evelyn laughed but her smile did not reach her eyes. Why did she leave? This question brought back a flashback of many evil nightmares, along with uneasy and frightening days.

"You never came back during that time? I still remember everyone saying that the Day family is hiding a treasure so that no other man would look at it." Alexander said to lighten the mood, "I can see that it was true" Alexander's voice turned into a whisper at the end.
