Bab 283: Tight-Loose, Loose-Tight

Tianshi Xue was more than rattled about the sudden appearance of Prince Qui. Her blood was rushing too fast in her veins and it was like her insides were getting twirled with a fork like spaghetti.

"You're not focusing," said Prince Qui as he walked around her, keeping an eye on her form.

She sighed and dropped her arm to her side. "Can't I just rest? You just came back. I want to spend time with you. Can't we talk?"

"We have all night to talk," said Prince Qui, a slight edge on his voice. "Come on, just finish that set, then we'll head upstairs."

Tianshi Xue was itching to throw herself at him. She wanted to feel him against her, but of course, Prince Qui had other plans for her. She took a deep breath to calm herself. He was right. They had all night to talk and all morning and the whole year waiting ahead of them.

"Fine," she said and threw the knife with more ferocity. When it landed on the target, it made a whole chunk sound.
