Bab 246: I Melt Ice

Tianshi Xue expected the awkwardness to start instantly. She knew that it was coming. It always happened in these kind of situations. After two people admitted their feelings to each other, they get shy no matter if it ended well or not.

After dinner, Prince Qui offered to clean the table for the servants to fetch as he had already taken a shower. Tianshi Xue took her sweet time in the bathroom, pep-talking herself.

"It should be fine," she said, her hair coiled in a towel as she brushed her teeth. "Now I know that he likes me too."

Saying that to herself, the butterflies in her stomach fluttered alive yet again. She could not help but grin at herself, her mouth still full of toothpaste.

"He LIKES me," she told herself, giggling.

She spat and rinsed her mouth. "That ice of a person actually likes me," she repeated then shook her head. "Why am I even surprised? I'm so hot that I melt ice."
