"This is stupid," said the prince and threw a piece of popcorn towards the television. "Is this serious?"

Tianshi Xue could not answer him quickly because she was crying again. "This is my favorite film," her voice resembled that of a frog's if frogs could talk. "How dare you hate it?"

"How come this is your favorite?" the prince asked, pointing an accusing hand on the screen where the final shots were being shown. The guy had a girlfriend whom he could've left and be with the girl instead! Why did they have to go through all that trouble?"

"That's what makes it tragic! It's because they can't be together!"

"But they could be together. It was not like they were married. Even if they were, divorce is a thing so… it was all unnecessary pain and crying, you know?"

Tianshi Xue ignored him. "It was a good story. Period."

"Why do you like it?" asked the prince, his tone prying. "Do you resonate with it?"
