(A/N: you know what. I just started my second world and I start to draft my third world. The 3rd world makes me so excited by just drafting the character and the world plot. XD)
The first day of the festival didn't have much to do besides the absorption of the Nether Light. So, Nineteen's day was ending with boredom. The second wasn't anything special either. The hotel was free to occupy, so everyone came to the hotel and Nineteen was one of them. However, the reason was different from them, he came here to sleep not absorption.
As soon as his head hit the soft pillow, even though he didn't feel anything from it, he fell asleep immediately. While he was sleeping soundly, he suddenly heard the sound of the door being knocked. He frowned at the sound and tried to open his heavy eyes.
The knocking sound included some yelling from behind the door made him completely open his eyes, walking toward the door to open who the hell was at his doorstep.
When the door finally opened, Nineteen saw a man with a proper suit on him standing while the action of knocking was still in the air. As for the man, when he saw that Nineteen finally out to greet him, immediately he told Nineteen what he had been here for.
"Your majesty requests your presence at the castle right now, please leave as soon as possible."
Right after he told Nineteen, he quickly turned around and left without turning back. Nineteen was quite puzzled at this action, but he did get the keyword in that sentence. He got summoned by the Nether Emperor right now. Nineteen didn't delay any longer, he instantly left the hotel and sprang to the castle where the Nether Emperor was.
While he was running to the castle, he was thinking about why the Nether Emperor wanted to meet him or rather summoned him to the castle. He shouldn't have offended him in any way, right? He couldn't think of anything of any actions yesterday that could offend his majesty. Now that he couldn't think of something, he tossed the idea of offending the Nether Emperor in the back of his mind and prepared himself to face the Nether Emperor again.
Nineteen arrived at the castle after 10 minutes of running from the hotel. He couldn't tell how far the castle was when he first arrived. Now he's standing in front of the gate again, waiting for the permission or rather the escort to walk him in. Otherwise, he would get lost in this big castle layout.
The servant from the last time was the one who escorted him again to the study room of the Nether Emperor. They arrived after 5 minutes' walks, the servant knocked softly on the door of the study and a cold voice replied. This time was like the last time, the servant didn't go inside with him, only he alone went inside.
He walked toward the inner room where the desk was located and so the person. He stopped one meter away from the desk, as he stared at the man who was sitting on the chair behind the desk while closing his eyes. Whenever he looked at him, he always thought of how this man was so handsome in every action he did. He couldn't help but stare a little bit longer. The soft yet chill voice of a man echoed throughout the room.
"Like what you're looking at?"
Nineteen woke up from his daze state and hurriedly bowed his head down while apologizing.
"This small one didn't dare. Please forgive this small one!"
After the Nether Emperor saw the little one's action, he rose from his seat and walked toward the bowing man. He extended his hand to lift the bowing man's head. The deep blue eyes of the Nether Emperor stared straight at the black eyes below. From this contact, the Nether Emperor was sure that he was the one who he had been waiting for a thousand years. Those eyes made him comfortable and excited at the same time his mind told him that he would never let this person go no matter what and gave this person his love as it was what this person deserved from him.
"Get up! We are just teasing you."
Right then, Nineteen was able to stand on his feet back and felt relief that the Nether Emperor didn't find fault in his action. However, his face soon flushed red when he heard the next sentence from the Nether Emperor.
"But, do you like what you see?"
Although this question was usually asked in another situation, Nineteen couldn't help but imagine another scene that was different from the scene a moment ago. As he got no way to escape, he nodded and indicated a yes to the question.
The Nether Emperor chuckled at his reaction and stopped teasing him. He reckoned Nineteen to follow his lead. He walked out of the study room with Nineteen followed behind. The duo was strolling around the castle as the Nether Emperor pointed at each room or location that they walked past, told Nineteen about what it did, and what it was for.
Nineteen found it hard to remember all the rooms and areas that they walked past because the castle has too many rooms. However, he couldn't voice any complaint because the person who told him all this was the man who was in the top position. He just sighed at how his memory was so small. The Nether Emperor didn't just tell him about the rooms in the castle, he even told him about where his personal yard and bedroom were located. Nineteen didn't know what the Nether Emperor was thinking about when he told him all of this information.
Then they crossed over to the other side of the Nether Emperor's personal yard. This area was very big, and the flowers were everywhere. The fragrant smell of various flowers filled his nose. The Nether Emperor led Nineteen to the east side of this huge garden where it had a table and chairs to sit in order to view the flowers.
They sat across each other and the Nether Emperor served tea for Nineteen. Nineteen didn't notice this, so he just accepted a cup of tea from the Nether Emperor. They stayed silent for a while and the first one to start the conversation was the Nether Emperor.
"Did you enjoy the festival yesterday?"
"Yes! The festival was quite new to me, so I did enjoy it until the end. However, the second was just boring. Although the Nether Light disappeared completely at the end of the first day, all of the dead spirits didn't give up absorption."
"We know about that. We couldn't blame them for being like this. They all knew that the Nether Light was sacred, that was why they tried hard during the first day."
"Then, your majesty, what about the third day?"
"The third day, we will pray again for the Nether God."
"Will the chosen one appear?"
Hearing this question, the Nether Emperor didn't hurry to answer. He silently looked at Nineteen which made it uncomfortable for Nineteen a little bit.
"It will."
"Then, will that person be able to become Empress and give us more Nether Light next year?"
"Who knows?"
After this awkward conversation, Nineteen chose to stay silent again and instead enjoyed the view of the garden. They both just enjoyed each other's company without talking much. Then, Nineteen suddenly thought of something and turned to ask the Nether Emperor.
"Your majesty, today on what agenda do you summon me to the castle?"
"Nothing. We just thought about taking you to tour around the castle and accompany us here in the garden."
"I see. That is my honor."
Nineteen didn't think too much about this, it was just a random doubt. He sipped the hot tea again. He didn't know what type of tea this, it was so fragrant and delicious. The color of the tea was similar to the rose tea he once had seen on youtube. However, he didn't dare to ask the Nether Emperor about this. The Nether Emperor was silent during this time and opened his mouth to speak.
"Do you like this tea?"
Nineteen was startled a bit but calmed down immediately. He replied to the Nether Emperor.
"Ah, yes! This tea is so fragrant and delicious. Your majesty, what tea is this?"
"The tea is a mixture of the flowers in here."
"Oh!"
"The flowers in here were nourished from the Nether Light during the festival's day, so it contains some energy from the Nether Light."
"I see."
Before the Nether Emperor ended their date or so he called it, he led Nineteen back to the castle through his personal yard. Nineteen turned back to see the garden but only saw the stone wall.
"Where is the garden?"
"The garden is located in another dimension."
"So we were in another space?"
"En."
The Nether Emperor called the servant to send Nineteen back. Before they separated, the Nether Emperor spoke to Nineteen one last time.
"Tomorrow, don't forget to come to the altar, you will see the chosen one."
"Yes, I won't forget."
"Good."
Then, Nineteen went back to the hotel room that he was in before. As he got nothing to do, he continued to sleep until the new day came
