"I will kill you, Overhaul!"
Erika jumped towards the man who was responsible for Toshikazu's current condition.
She held two identical blades within her petite hands as she made a sweeping motion.
Swish!
The air trembled and exploded towards the masked-villain who had conjured a mud wall in front of him; to protect himself against the raging winds.
Clang!
The blades sliced halfway through the wall; before coming to an anticipated halt!
"Raaag!"
A war cry!
Erika thundered with vengeance!
Crack!
Clearly, the mud wall wasn't enough to restrain the great hatred contained within her blades.
It broke!
Into many smaller rocks!
"You crazy bitch!"
Overhaul had murder evident on his face as he glared down at his attacker.
A magic sequence appeared on the ground in front of him; just underneath Erika who was still recovering from her previous attack.
What followed after was a small tremor as a huge spike emerged from the ground; hurrying towards the younger Chiba woman.
"Tch!"
An annoyed "tch!" left the redhead's mouth as she blinked away; reappearing a little further behind the trees located in the park.
As powerful as she was, the difference of power between herself and Overhaul was too large for her to fight a straight battle.
She could masterfully use advanced movement techniques being as skilled as she was; at a young age!
Her blinking away made no target for the spike to hit, thus the caster had to stop his magic to conserve his psion count.
You wouldn't want to be running low on reserves when faced with a major threat; now would you?
"Get her!"
Overhaul bellowed to his subordinates to engage in combat against the enemy and assist him; this way he could easily save more of his magic just in case he needed to fight more enemies.
The seven surviving terrorists immediately moved towards the Chiba woman; preferring to deal with the nuisance as soon as possible.
Strangely for this, Erika didn't seem to have any interest in confronting them. She was much more "interested" in killing their boss.
She ignored them and once again blinked towards Overhaul; with her blades drawn and craving for his blood!
"Fool!"
Announced one of the 7-subordinates as they tried to intercept her mid-way!
Whoosh!
A figure flashed in front of them, effectively blocking them from intercepting Erika.
"Your opponent will be me!"
Naotsugu stood bare-handed in front of seven exceptionally skilled fighters who were looking at him with caution in their eyes.
He wore a simple white uniform that seemed to have the words "Gratitude" imprinted on the front.
Oh yes!
Also, a black headband with the words "Swordsman" carved on the middle of the Chiba family symbol.
Steps!
He dominantly took a step forward towards his enemy and released the entirety of his aura.
The massive intent within his aura had manifested into an invisible long sword.

This was the technique that allowed Naotsugu to become the youngest sword saint in history!
This technique mimicked the heart being pierced.
It wasn't mental interference magic that only affects one's consciousness, this technique deceived the very soul by directly affecting the psionic information body accompanying the physical body.
In all of its essence!

"Die! You pest!"
Overhaul stomped his feet as multiple magic circles appeared on the ground; the psion immediately thickened around his body.
Numerous palms made from earth emerged from the ground and shot towards Erika at a breakneck speed!
Steps!
Bam!
Erika maneuvered around the multiple hands while evading their holds; her only goal was to reach Overhaul and land a decisive blow!
"Humph!"
The ground beneath Overhaul suddenly started expanding forward; in an instant, he was right in front of his attacker!
"Eat this bitch!"
"Grhhk!"
He kicked Erika straight into the ribs; making her grimace in pain while she somehow managed to slash at her enemy's face.
"Argh!"
And she blinks away to avoid any sudden attacks from the enemy who was supporting his plaque mask with his hand!
Yes, he was holding his plaque mask!
While Erika would love to think that she had successfully managed to slash her enemy's face off!
That wasn't the case!
At the last moment, Overhaul had shifted the ground underneath their feet to create distance between them.
Therefore, even if he was able to completely avoid the surprise attack from the enemy; he was still able to get away with any damage.
Of course, that's a big "if"...
...and only if we don't include the plaque mask.
Silence!
The world seemed to have quieted down, even the sound of Naotsugu fighting against the 7-individuals couldn't be heard in this bizarre deafening silence!
Crack!
A small crack appeared on the plaque mask that Overhaul wore. The small line then started to move forward; eventually covering the whole mask until it finally broke apart!
"You!"
Overhaul had covered his face using his left hand; allowing no one to look at his features!
"You filthy bitch!"
Parting his fingers from in front of his eyes, he gazed at Erika with a maddening expression!
Purple veins emerged all over his face as he grabbed his face with strength!
"You dare!"
He screamed at the top of his lungs!
Boom!
With a crackle, psion burst out of Overhaul's body as he let go of his control on his power; forming a huge magic circle that covered the whole park.
Rumble!
"[Systematic Recreation:-Kazikli Bey]"
Hundreds and thousands of earth spikes emerged out of the ground!
Every one of them aimed towards Erika who abandoned all thoughts of escaping and rushed to attack her enemy!
"Erika!"
Naotsugu immediately formed a barrier around himself to protect against the incoming barrage of unending lethal spikes!
Fortunately, he wasn't the target so his barrier would be enough to handle the situation but the same couldn't be said about Erika.
"Haaa!"
The young redhead disregarded everything around her as she focused on her thoughts.
'I must kill him for what he did to Toshi-Nii sama!'
She didn't care about her life or the spikes coming at her; she just had murder on her mind.
"Die!"
Overhaul roared with a smirk as he watched his spikes about to skew the enemy!
Whoosh!
Unfortunately for him...
"[Mist-dispersion]"
Rustle!
...they were here!
