Meeting Yan Qiuyu's daughter face to face after not seeing Tang Moyu for more than two decades, Lian Fang couldn't believe the resemblance between the empress and her mother. Except for Tang Moyu's eyes, which no doubt she got from her father, everything about her reminded Lian Fang of Yan Qiuyu. 

She'd seen Tang Moyu in several financial articles in newspapers and magazines, but seeing her personally made her shed tears and couldn't help but be emotional on their first meeting. 

Lian Fang had been worried and curious about how Tang Moyu was faring in her father's family. She knew that the girl would be in great trouble when Tang Lixue took her with him and brought her back to Shenzhen.

"I didn't expect that you'll look for me. Why are you curious about Yu'er though? Did something happen?" Lian Fang asked the empress, whose face was totally unreadable at the moment, reminding her of Tang Lixue.
