Bab 144: You Can't Fool Me Twice, Lu Tianxin (2)

Ye Xiaozu stood up from his seat and adjusted his coat before greeting the two women. He shook Gu Yuyao's hand first in greeting before turning to face Lu Tianxin. The moment their hands touched, he felt like he was electrified. 

How come Lu Tianxin was still able to affect him like this? He frowned to himself. He thought that the long years they'd been apart from each other was enough for him to forget whatever feelings he had for her. 

The woman in front of him was the same woman who promised him forever, but had backed down at the first sign of distress. How the hell did she manage to fool him for so long and let her ruin him? 

Ye Xiaozu swore that he would never fall for Lu Tianxin's innocent face again. 

'You can't fool me twice, Lu Tianxin. Not this time.'

"Please take a seat," he told Gu Yuyao and Lu Tianxin as he gestured to the seats across him.
