Back at Jiyū Island, the party was progressing well into the night when suddenly a tall, pale man appeared in front of Ken and bowed down with his head touching the ground.
"I'm sorry, Captain!" screamed Laffitte.
"Huh, who are you?" asked Ken.
Laffitte looked up with shock, fearing the worst. "Captain! Have you forgotten about me? I am Laffitte! Did those bastards do something to you! I swear that I'll bring you all their heads!"
"Hahaha! The look on your face is priceless, my trusty navigator. Come stand up."
Laffitte had a relieved expression seeing as his Captain was joking. Ken grabbed Laffitte and helped him up till they were at the same height. He then grabbed a cup of booze and gave it to Laffitte to drink.
"Why are you acting so sad? Here drink up. Booze makes all the sadness go away, even if it's only for a couple of hours. Hahahaha!"
"But Captain, I don't deserve to be treated like this. I should have never left you there alone. And after you got caught, I couldn't even do anything to help you. I'm such a failure."
"What?"
Laffitte suddenly felt a fear he had never felt before as he looked at his Captain.
"Are you refusing to drink after I have offered it to you? I thought that you were one of the ones that I could always rely on, but you don't even want to drink with me. How disappointing."
"No, of course, I won't reject your offer, Captain!" Laffitte quickly gulped down the booze. His face immediately turned red.
"Oops, I forgot that you have the lowest alcohol tolerance around here. Well, whatever, now that you're drunk anyway, drink up more!"
"Yes, Captain!"
The sad and guilty look on Laffitte's face completely disappeared, and all that remained was a big creepy smile. He immediately went to the middle of the crowd to dance with Ace, Deuce, Brook, Paulie, and the Yamada triplets.
"Ken, what are you doing drinking so much! You just came back from being imprisoned. You need to rest." said Celine.
"Shit, how did she find me."
"I heard that!"
"I was just kidding. But come on, booze is the best medicine in this world. It will help me heal in no time."
"Do men always tell themselves lies like that?"
"It seems like women know men better than we know them. Hahahaha!"
"Sigh, just don't drink too much, please."
"Yes, sir!" Ken said with a salute.
"That's more like it," said Celine with a superior tone.
"Hah? So you want to act like that, huh." Ken suddenly grabbed Celines hand and started dragging her with him.
"Wait, where are you suddenly taking me!"
He turned around with a mischievous smile. "We're going to dance of course."
Her face suddenly flushed red, and she tried to get her hand out of his grasp, but he didn't let her go. "I am sorry! You can drink as much as you want, just please don't take me there. I will never be able to show my face around here again."
He let her go and looked at her with a smirk. "Mission accomplished. Hahahaha!"
"Sigh. I am glad that you can still laugh. I was getting so worried by thinking about what they would do to you."
"There was no need to worry. I'm used to stuff like that."
"Wait, what do you mean by being used to stuff like that?"
"Oh, look at that. It's time to get the hell out of here."
Before Celine could stop him, he had already disappeared.
'Could it be that there was a time in his life where he was living a miserable life? But someone strong like Ken could never have lived like that, right?'

Ken is sitting on top of one of the houses and looking down at the party with a smile.
'I think that I finally have a place to call home, little brother. Now I just need to get strong enough to protect it.'
Ken looked behind him and saw a hooded figure. "So you're the guy who beat my little brother, Mist Kane."
"What, how did you know!"
"I'm smart. But anyway, did you really think that a sneak attack could work on me? Your Devil fruit won't be able to even scratch me, so why did you even come here?"
Pink flower petals suddenly started surrounding him.
"Hmm. They're kinda like Robin's flowers, but yours are mainly for attacks, and hers are for creation. Yours can be pretty powerful as long as you don't meet Ace."
"Huh? What can that guy to me?"
"Are you an idiot or something? If your flower petals just as much as grazes a flame, they are gone."
"Wow, I didn't even know that! Thank you for pointing that out."
"Yeah, no problem. Anyway, since we are partying right now, can't you come back some other time? I don't feel like killing today."
"Hahaha, you think that I'm stupid? You must be extremely weakened after fighting with grandfather and his friends. There will never be a chance like this again." He quickly covered up his mouth.
"..."
"Shit, I guess I can't allow you to live now."
"Ey, how old are you?"
"Huh? I'm 18; why?"
"If a guy is 900 years old and he fucks let say, someone who is 90 years old, could that be called pedophilia?"
"Hmm? I think so. That's centuries of difference. That will be like a 90-year-old guy going after a 9-year-old girl."
"Wouldn't that mean that your grandfather is a pedophile?"
"Now that you mention it! My grandma is dead, but my mother said that she would be around 65 years right now. That is definitely pedophilia. I should talk to my grandfather about that. Thank you for enlightening me."

Kane sat down next to Ken and grabbed a cup of booze that Ken handed to him. He immediately started drinking it. He and Ken enjoyed the view of the party when Kane suddenly realized something.
"Wait!"
Kane quickly jumped back and pointed at Ken with a shocked face.
"I came here to kill you. How dare you trick me into drinking with you!"
"Hahaha, you might even win against Luffy when it comes to stupidness. Ey, I have a question. Who is your grandfather?"
"If you give me back his sword, I might talk."
"So he is the completely bald guy."
"Fuck!"
"Captain!"
Someone suddenly appeared beside Kane.
"What have you been doing for so long. Let's go quickly before someone finds us."
"Yo," said Ken.
"Hello, Azure Ken." He was about to continue talking with Kane when he suddenly realized. "Haha, don't worry about us; we are just passing merchants. Nothing shady about us. Haha…"
The guy and Kane quickly turned around and started running away.
"Thank you for the drink!" screamed Kane as he disappeared from Ken's view.
'I wonder how long it will take before he is back.'

10 minutes later, Kane was sitting back next to Ken, but this time with cuffs on his hands and feet.
"We have caught his crew, and all of them were CP-0 agents. Luckily they weren't strong, so we were able to take care of it quickly," said Laffitte.
"What are you talking about? They aren't CP-0 agents! I have recruited them on my own! I don't want anything to do with those World Government bastards again!"
Laffitte pulled out a stack of id cards that had the faces of his crewmates on it. These are given to CP agents. It has their name and rank on it.
"Impossible! Those must be fake!"
"Why would we fake them? It's not like we want to pull you to our side. You should start praying that I will one day let you leave here alive," said Ken.
"Please, if there is a God out there, please let this fucker choke to death on noodles," said Kane.
"Laffitte, you know what to do."
"Yes, Captain."
Laffitte looked at Kane with an eerie smile.
"Wait, wait, I'll tell you whatever you want to know!"
"What's the fun if you talk on your own?"
"MOMMY!"
