Bab 128: Reflex

NICK POV

He sits on the bed in the emergency room and he can not stop thinking about you. He does not care about his leg but that is not important right now. What is important is that he needs to know if you are going to be okay and he needs to get to your room as quickly as possible.

"Excuse me ma'am, but how long is this going to take?"

The nurse looks at him with a frown on her face and then says.

"Mr. Roberts, we are just waiting for the doctor. We can not let you walk out of here without a check-up"

He sighs loudly as he is trying to suppress his irritation. He is used to be the leader of the team and everyone does exactly what he says but now he has to wait for a doctor to clear him. Every minute that is not with you is like a painful slap in the face or a punch in the stomach.
