Miracle's POV

No matter how I tried to sleep, I couldn't. It was so hard for me because I am thinking about Caitlin's words. I need to ask Jace to bring all my mom's things to his father's house. I need to keep all my mother's stuff safe because I felt so scared that Caitlin will take away the source of my memories of my mother. I have never seen my mom, and I never got the chance to be in her arms, but her things keep me closer to her. 

"Are you still awake?" I asked Jace through text, but after several minutes of waiting, he didn't reply. Maybe he is already sleeping. I put back my phone on my nightstand when I heard my message alert tone.
