Bab 87: Chapter Eighty-six

♦September's POV♦

We all end up in a fancy restaurant, at least that was what everyone kept saying, considering that we had to sit on makeshift barrels and only had the option of taking their daily special, 'beef stew' but I wasn't complaining.

I wasn't particularly hungry because of the blood I had ingested but the beef stew turned out really nice, the meat was soft and juicy and the sauce a little too spicy.

That bit flew over Dane's head as he gorged himself on the food.

"Are you sure you'll still be able to move?" Zach asks him, turns out I wasn't the only one worried about it.

He patted his flat stomach and took a sip of the weird fizzy drink that I had passed up on. "Yup, I'll be just fine."

"You said you'll be just fine." Arianna accuses him less than ten minutes later when we resumed our journey.

"Yeah well, It's not easy to carry Selena around, okay." He huffs.
