Bab 71: Chapter Seventy

♦Lucinda's POV♦

I eye Travon as he gets dressed, he's been tense ever since we decided to come along, I know he doesn't like the idea of my presence and I feel bad about forcing him to let me.

I shake my head and decide to use the bathroom, he's so closed off it hurts, I wonder if doing this to our relationship is worth it.

"Hurry up, love, Arianna is blowing off my phone saying that they're all waiting for us at the dining hall."

"I'm coming!" I throw back to him, getting dressed in the bathroom to conserve time.

That is the problem, Travon doesn't act like anything is wrong he still treats me the same way, well the same way he's treated me ever since I found out about the supernatural world, like a precious egg.

I know his friends, especially Arianna and Dane aren't exactly my biggest fans and sometimes I wonder if I'm not just a big burden to him.
