"Check…" I shove away Dane's last defense with my queen piece. "...mate." 

Selena hoots at the same time that Dane slumps to the ground.

"I only took out two pawns, you're evil." He accused.

I just run my hands through Cameron's wavy hair, a smug smile present on my face.

Arianna keeps glancing at Cameron's peaceful face with worry and I hope that it works out for them both, they deserve a little love.

I lock gazes with Zach and he gives me a slow smile that makes my heart pause and resumes beating double time, he's the one good thing in my shipwreck of a life.

Maybe I should list them out so it'll hurt enough.

Blank Vampire and... Blank Vampire.

Frankly, that was my only problem.
