Bab 330: CONFUSED

Ceeret woke up with a start. Her breathing came out in low heavy pants and sweat trickled down her forehead before dripping down her nose and to the floor.

Her eyes widened slightly.

Floor?

She was very sure that she had gone to sleep in her own bed. In addition, she was sure that no one would kidnap her without her knowledge. She was a very light sleeper after all.

She had just taken in a deep breath to calm herself down when she realized that her palms, which were placed on the floor, were quite hot. Her hazy eyes cleared up as she looked down. That's when she realized that the floor she was seated on was, quite literally, burning. She jumped up, surprised. Her feet were bare, but, she did not feel that they did not feel as hot as her hands did when they touched the ground.
