Bab 267: CLOSER!

Lexine slowly walked down the steps of the flight of stairs in the mansion that belonged to her aunt. Her eyes were heavy, and her head felt like it was spinning around in circles. She grasped onto the railing as hard as she could, trying to ensure that she didn't fall and hurt herself even further. It had taken a lot of energy to ensure that she managed to get out of her room, and if it wasn't for Quira, she wouldn't have even managed to get out.

Quira hovered around her, holding a large knitted woolen coat and a scarf in both her hands. She was pouting, and her face was dark as she watched Lexine walk one step after the other. The girl had refused all of her help to get down the steps with the excuse that she could do it on her own.

However, this could not stop her from worrying. After all, Lexine had been out of it for a little over a week. There was no way she wouldn't be worried.
