Bab 171: CEERET'S FAMILY

Ceeret walked up the steps to their house, her lips pulled up as she absent-mindedly hummed a song out of tune. She opened the door to their house and placed her black backpack onto the hook that was on the left wall.

Before she could announce her arrival, the sound of kitchen utensils banging reached her ears. Her lips pulled down, and she stopped humming. Down the stairs ran her father. There was no doubt that he had heard the banging as well.

There was panic on his face, and he turned to Ceeret, "Hello darling. Is your mother...?"

Ceeret shrugged since she had just come into the house, "I don't know. Where is the cook?" Her father ran to the kitchen, not answering her question. It was funny considering his tall stature. He ran down a hall that was to the left and disappeared from Ceeret's sight.

However, Ceeret did not run immediately, as she dropped her car keys onto the holder before she ran after him. If her mother was in the kitchen, then they were in deep shit.
