Bab 80: Apartment 12. Aiden Jenkins. This Is the New Normal

"Ready to go?" Olivia asks as I exit the bedroom.

She is sitting down on the couch, looking through a stack of old newspapers that have been collecting dust on the coffee table for a long while, judging by the thick cloud of dust that puffs into the air as Olivia drops the topmost paperback on the stack. I didn't think about who lived in this apartment unit yesterday, I was too tired to do much thinking, but now I can't help but wonder what kind of people lived here. Most likely, one of them liked to keep things neat and in their rightful places. I eye the pairs of shoes neatly lined below a long bench by the front door and the cluster free bookcases on each side of the flat-screen television that takes up one wall of the living room, two doors on each side, one leading to Mrs Gomez's bedroom and the other to Ash's—or, should I say, mine. 

"Where's Hunter gone off to?" I ask Olivia when I notice his absence.
