"Let us eat first." Francheska said as she put down her phone and grabbed the two paper bags Rissa was holding.
As expected, Rissa was not joking while they are in the van. She really ordered a carrot shake and a bowl of leafy vegetable salad for Francheska. She also ordered a Chinese steamed fish in ginger and stir-fried tofu. Francheska can only let out a sigh while placing the food on the small coffee table inside. These low-calorie foods are not really her taste. But it is a good thing that Rissa also added a small cup of low-fat milk pudding for her dessert.
"Francheska..."
"Hmm?" Francheska hummed in response as she carefully opened each plastic container.
"Well... Giselle is one of the auditionees for today."
Francheska's hands stopped moving for a couple of seconds before she continued opening the containers.
"While I was paying the delivery man earlier, I accidentally saw Giselle sitting on the couch outside while reading a script. She has a number card pinned on her shirt that is why I am sure that she was here to audition for the movie."
In fact, not only Giselle, but Rissa also saw Iñigo earlier. He was sitting next to Giselle while talking with someone on his phone. Rissa is not sure if Rachel was also here.
If she was really here, then Francheska will meet the three people who cause a lot of miseries in Francheska's past. She was not that worried about Francheska. Rissa knows that she is not the same Francheska who knows nothing but to cry. She was more worried that those people will cause a problem for Francheska. Worst, they will try to hurt her again.
Francheska did not show any reaction and just continued what she was doing. After opening all the plastic containers, she opened the paper bag again to look for their disposable spoons and forks.
"Do you want me to stop her from auditioning?" Rissa carefully asked.
"You will not do that, Rissa." Francheska finally said. "Even if she will get the role or not, we will not do anything to stop her from auditioning on this role."
Francheska urged Rissa to sit beside her and gave her open bottled water to drink.
"Rissa, I know why you are acting like that. And I am really thankful that you are doing it on my behalf." Francheska said with a smile. "But we will not lower ourselves at their level."
Francheska let out a sigh and leaned her back on the chair.
"I told you, didn't I? I do not want to dwell on my past. If possible, I want to forget all about it and treat it like a nightmare."
"But Francheska..."
"It is okay. Ever since I left the country, I promised myself to start a new life. Of course, I can never forgive them. But I do not want to relive the past for all my life."
This is Francheska's honest feelings. She was hurt, yes. But she does not plan to pursue those people who hurt her and her mother only if those people will not provoke her first. All Francheska wanted is a peaceful life with the people who truly care about her. She prefers to live in peace and away from those bad people.
Of course, as long as they will not disturb her life again, Francheska will not do anything.
"Stop frowning, Rissa. What if your soulmate is here and he sees you like that? If you keep on frowning, you will scare your soulmate away. Worst, he will find another woman to marry!" Francheska said as she tried to change the topic.
"He might as well die if my soulmate dares to cheat on me." Rissa flatly answered.
"No! If he dies, you will become a nun in the future!"
"And you really dare to think that!"
Francheska only laughed in response to that. The serious atmosphere inside her dressing room disappeared just like that. This lively mood is much better. Talking about those vermin will leave a bitter taste on their food and they may cause indigestion for them.
