Bab 151: Interesting.

"Bella? Where is Ben?" Nicole, who had been sitting outside waiting for Ben to return, asked when she saw Bella getting out of the cab.

"He went home with Dan," Bella said disinterestedly as she walked into the house. 

"You came back?" Her father asked in surprise when she walked into the house. 

"Amazing! You look so beautiful! Where are you coming from dressed like this?" Bella's mother asked with a very happy smile as she stood up from the couch and approached Bella. 

"I told you I was accompanying my boss to a business dinner. Ben won't be home tonight; he will be sleeping at his friend's house," Bella told her mother as she took off her shoes and headed for the kitchen to eat whatever she could find. She was in a foul mood, and all she wanted was to eat and lay on her bed with music in her ears.
