Bab 102: The Painting (1)

"I'm really not going to meet with you after today. It's such a shame that you wasted so much money on those clothes," Bella said after she had relaxed her back. 

"I didn't ask you any question," Dan reminded her. 

"I'm not taking those clothes home," Bella repeated, just in case he missed the message the first time. 

"We will see about that," Dan promised without looking at her. They both lapsed into another round of silence, and Bella busied herself with her phone, playing her candy crush while Dan focused his attention on the road as he tried to drive really fast so he could get to the nursing home in time.
