Bab 82: Bell?

Just as they walked into the living room, Dan's phone started ringing, and he took it out to receive his call, "Hello... Nicole? No. Where could she have possibly gone to?" Dan asked with a frown while Joan and Bella exchanged a look that Zach didn't miss. 

Of course, it couldn't be a coincidence that they had just asked about her, and all of a sudden, she was missing at home. He could tell they both knew something about her whereabouts.

"No. I haven't seen or heard from her... Of course, I would have called if she had stopped by at my house. I'll let you know if I hear from her or see her," Dan assured whoever it was at the other end of the phone before hanging up. 

After tucking his phone into his pocket, Dan turned to Joan with a smile and stretched his hand for a handshake, "I will have to invite you again next time. It's been a pleasure meeting you," Dan said as he shook hands with Joan.
