Bab 200: Chapter 74

Alpha was even more enraged as he watched his mate being attacked and injured. He growled as he attacked Brooks, his teeth exposed in a snarl and his claws digging in right behind Brooks' shoulderblades. He managed to knock Brooks away from Dominique but not before he took a good sized chunk out of her side. She howled in pain. He dug his claws in until he could feel Brooks' rib cage. He curled his paws in until he felt them breaking. He sank his teeth into the side of Brooks' neck. He savored the taste of flesh and blood in his mouth as he ripped the flesh off. He dug his teeth back in and continued to rip the flesh from Brooks' throat and shoulder until Brooks' body collapsed to the ground. His claws were still dug into Brooks body as he raised his head and let out a loud howl.
