Bab 156: Chapter 30

"Don't bother coming back," a woman's voice said.

Chris turned around and saw Dominique standing there. The look in her eyes was hard. He didn't see any marks on her body. How was she not injured? She raised her chin and looked down on Chris. He sighed. She was Makayla's mother and he knew she felt that he had betrayed Makayla and really he had. He got on one knee and hung his head. 

"I know I have not been a good mate to your daughter, Luna. All I can do is apologize to you and hope one day I will earn your forgiveness."

"It's not me that you need to beg forgiveness from. I hope that you will rethink your rejection. My daughter will be a wonderful, compassionate Luna one day. If you will not see that then so be it. Another man will surely see it and take advantage of it."
