Bab 2: Fumetsu no ha

When I was younger, I had a dream of making people happy. Yet when I came into this world god had a different idea for me. Making me immortal of all things. Not just immortal but a yokai as well. I survived through many eras and many people tried to help me. I considered them my family. But they died in front of me, creating a monster with no emotions.

*One day in the village* "He doesn't deserve to live, we should get rid of him.." villager says to the people. "YEA!" They all shout in agreeance.

The village marched to Haruki's home, "Open up Haruki we know you're in there hiding!"

Haruki opens the door, "Hiding? Why would I hide from my family?"

The villagers grab Haruki by the neck, "We're not your family, you never had one!"

In this moment, Haruki realizes he protected these people from harm for reasons he didn't know. He was mistreated. Yet he always smiled at them with the most happiness.

The villagers take him to the square where everyone can see the "show".

Haruki gets tied up by his neck and the villagers start a fire under him.

"I hope you're happy everyone.." Haruki speaks softly while smiling. Feeling his feet burn and the pain he feels from his heart. The betrayal, he doesn't feel pain on him just the warmth...

The villagers go back to their homes after a while.

A little child and a group of people come across the village. They see the sacrifice they did to Haruki. "HAHAHA that's funny. Let us see how they like the feeling of getting burned, shall we?"

The little boy grabs matches out of his bag and the other people put gasoline around the houses, making a trail to set them all on fire at once. "What a beautiful color this will be." The little boy grins in excitement. Then he lights the match and throws it.

The houses start burning one after the other, creating a trail of beautiful fire. *deep breath* "Ahh I love the smell of burnt wood, and the sound of screams. Don't you agree?" The other group members laugh in enjoyment.

After the group of people leave, Haruki wakes up. *Groan* "Arg, Hm? What happened!" Haruki feels a deep stab in his heart. "Everything is gone..."
