Bab 142: IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT: PART 1

Observing the way the disguised Evelyn acts, Elise still has doubts but decides to shrug it off and enjoy the wine they were serving.

"I'll leave the two of you, your Holiness and Young Master Allan. If you need something then just please ring the bell and a servant will come immediately. Then, if you'll excuse me…" 

Clack! Thud!

Evelyn went out of the room and only Allan and Elise were left alone.

Elise glanced at Allan who was quieter than usual.

"Young Master Allan? Is something wrong?"

"There's none… I just thought of something." 

"Is it about the lady before…?" 

Elise tried to softly and slowly asked the question. She knew for the past four years that Allan and his family are quite sensitive whenever talks about their family come up. Especially, if it comes to the ladies in their house which have a tragic ending.
