Bab 86: Forgiveness

Maya's POV

"Why do you have to tell him something like that, Chelsea? You shouldn't have given Adonis words of encouragement." I said to Chelsea the moment Adonis gets inside Ryan's office. I felt ashamed that I was angry with Adonis early this morning because I thought he was following me intentionally in going to my office without knowing he had a meeting with our CEO. 

"I am sorry, Maya, it was not my intention to encourage him to pursue you since I know my cousin will be hurt since Ryan is really into you because I can tell it by the way he looked at you. But I want Adonis to voice out what is in his heart since he doesn't know that I knew you were that woman he was in love with, and I pity Adonis because I can tell he doesn't want to lose you at all." Chelsea declared.

"Besides, I can tell he was sincere, and he is hurting, Maya, are you sure you won't give him another chance?" Chelsea asked me, and I raised my eyebrow.
