Bab 83: My New Neighbor

Maya's POV

The dinner is superb, but I couldn't eat properly because of Adonis's presence on the other table, and I hate it that no matter how much I keep reminding myself I am over him, I can't stop myself from feeling so affected by his presence. I don't know if Ryan noticed how I suddenly feel uneasy. I pretended to look around the restaurant, and I felt glad they are no longer on their table, and I didn't know they already left, and I felt relieved that I can now relax and be myself again.

"So, did you enjoy our dinner, Maya?" Ryan asked the moment we get out of the restaurant, and he takes me to my car, and I gave him my sweetest smile before I reply.

"Of course, it was a lovely dinner," I said.

"I hope next time you will allow me again to take you to dinner." He added.
