Bab 4: You are here too?
The next day...
It was around 8 am. Bright rays of sunlight and the chirping sounds of birds in the sunny springtime invaded Dae Hyuk's room through the windows to woke him up from sleep. He was still drowsy as he slept much late at night as he forgot the time while surfing his favorite pet animal videos. He slowly sat up on his bed and stroked his bed hair. Somehow, his mood was a bit grumpy as unknowingly he was thinking about his encounter with Yeon from last night.
"I actually met a real grim reaper in my life for the first time, but he was such a rude prick! How could he just disappear on me when I wanted to treat him with dinner? Asshole!" He was cursing him nonchalantly while heading straight towards the restroom.

After being freshened up, he walked towards the kitchen to grab some cereals. As he opened the closet, his mood was triggered furthermore.
There wasn't a single trace of neither cereals nor instant noodles. He slammed the closet door fiercely. Slowly he walked towards the dining table to grab a seat.
"I am so f*cking tired of eating and living alone... Maybe, at this point of life, unknowingly I want a company too... But I am too lazy to go into a relationship, I suck in communication skills with ladies. Probably, I should get some help from Kwan." He pouted.
Ri Kwan, another criminal detective and also his colleague with whom he has been a bit close compared to others in his work life. They have hung out together a few times besides work. Kwan is a quite sturdy, tall, and muscular guy with whom Dae Hyuk unknowingly feels comfortable. Though Dae Hyuk himself has a pretty impressive tall height, still his appearance looks a bit smaller than Kwan's sturdy character.
With a pouty face, he gripped his wallet and headed outside to the nearest convenience store to grab something.

In front of Jin Convenience store, Yeon was sitting along with his subordinate on two seats inside a bus stop. His subordinate seemed like a jovial, handsome guy, but a little smaller in appearance compared to Yeon. The guy was continually gawking on the people passing by them. Both of them were still in their invisible form as they didn't put on their occult watches, which makes them visible before humans.
He silently glanced at Yeon once and frowned his eyebrows. "Umm, Reaper 999, why do you look so pale today?" He inquired.
Yeon didn't look at him and sighed heavily. "Ahh, don't even ask. I couldn't sleep for the whole night." He replied.
The guy smirked with his response and brought his face a bit closer to him. "Did any human maiden chase after you again? Well, it's all due to your unusual handsomeness." He whispered with a spooky grin.
Yeon sighed again and peeked at him with an agitated expression before speaking, "you don't need to whisper in my ears, we are already invisible to humans. And, your assumption is wrong this time."
"Ahhh, yes right." He immediately straightened up his head and looked at him. "So, why are you sighing? What happened?" He was persistent.
"I met a crazy guy last night. He was really weird and the most shocking fact was he was able to see me when I was in my invisible form! He wasn't a bit scared of grim reapers and invited me for a treat! Also, he told me that he can see ghosts. I somehow escaped him yesterday but I am still confused while thinking about it." He replied with a cold voice.
The guy chuckled with his response and turned his face again towards the convenience store. "Then why are you thinking about it? Well, we can't interfere with the creations of God and there are indeed some special guys like that human, you met yesterday. But, are you sure he was a normal human, not any possessed one?" He murmured.
"Of course he was not possessed by anything. But, I never met such a guy in my life." Yeon responded in a bold tone and looked straight at the convenience store. Suddenly, a glimpse of smile appeared in his pale face.
"Ahh, that guy has bothered me so much yesterday, that he is still roaming on my mind. I can even an illusionary image of that guy walking towards us while waving his hands. What a nuisance!" He sneered.
Immediately, his subordinate gazed at the way Yeon was looking and frowned his eyebrows. "Umm, but, even I can also see a cheerful guy walking towards us while waving his right hand towards you. If it's your illusion, how can I see him?" He interrogated him with a dubious tone.
Suddenly Yeon's face totally faded into darkness and he almost sprang up from his seat. "Huh? You can see him too? Th-That means, I am not dreaming! He is walking towards me in real!" He raised his tone and almost froze in anxiety.
...
"Hello, Mr. Yeon. So, we meet again." Dae Hyuk greeted him with a bright smile on his face as he reached them at the bus stop.
Yeon was standing all numb ogling at him with widened eyes. "You? You are here too? What the hell?" He exclaimed.
