Bab 170: Volume 5 Episode 24: Childhood Friend

"You don't have to be afraid, Rin," Raymond spoke softly as he moved closer to Rin. "Lin Hamill, even though he might be extremely powerful, is still a wanted individual. There's only so much running one can do before giving up. You can't hide forever, and sooner or later, he'll end up getting caught by the Korean government. And besides, you are a member of the Emerson family, my child. No one can hurt you here."

Rin nodded her head, but in her heart, she couldn't help but feel uneasy.

In the Emerson mansion. One of the servants walked out of the living room, and entered a small closet, as he took out a burner phone and placed it close to his ears. 

"Hello? Sir? It's me. Do not worry. The infiltration is going as planned. Soon, the entire Emerson family will be under your control."

"Good," the voice on the other side replied indifferently. "When is the wedding?"
