I was jolted awake by a stinging sensation in my head. Realizing that I was in a hall full of people, I quickly stood up, hoping that no one had noticed me laying on the ground just a second ago.
"Ahh, I regret not eating that man," someone said beside me, grinning at another someone.
"Of course, a young man has so much energy, so much life," the other hisses, licking her lips. "But a pregnant woman is better."
There were a lot of people—too many to count. Most of them are women, laughing hysterically at one another's conversation as they eat their scrumptious-looking dinner. I saw children running around the hall, chasing after a flying ball. Elderly women—perhaps their grandmothers—looked at them fondly from their tables.
