Bab 86: EIGHTY NINE

Our kindness used it to make me happy, but now all I feel is cold, hurt, and sad. Every night when I clutch my pillow close to my chest, I pray that I wake up loved. There is no way out for me; I have nowhere to go. Like a newborn fawn, I have no choice but to keep moving forward. Someday I'll be able to go for long walks and be happy by myself or with another person who prefers solitude. The inability to respond tonight may be contributing to the surreal feeling I have. I've lost all sensation and am mourning the love we shared. Because my memories of you are starting to blur and you no longer stand out clearly in my mind, I wish you were still here with me.
