Bab 32: Egg
Not seeing Hiko as a threat the leviathan swam over the chimera ant moving towards the bottom of the cave, looking to where to was going Hiko saw there was a slight indentation in the rock bottom. Swiming up higher Hiko eyes widened when he saw the large round egg nestled in the crater, letting out a sad sound from its throat the leviathan brushed up against the egg turning it slightly. Hiko saw that the thick shell of the egg was cracked slightly, ' It was probably injured the same time as the mother, both of them won't survive any longer. '

You have stumbled upon a leviathan mother who has been injured and won't' survive, the egg is cracked and the embryo inside will die in two days' time. The egg of a leviathan is extremely valuable and can be used to make superior armor and weapons. There is a chance that if you act now the egg can be saved.'

Dismissing the window Hiko didn't have to debate what he was going to do, either way, the mother would die so he would get the corpse and he could buy weapons from the system if for some reason he ever needed them.
All he had to do was get close to the egg which was protected by a mythical beast, ' It's about time something challenged me. ' Thinking for a moment Hiko called his ants and waited, five minutes later one very bloated ant, landed in his palm before changing into royal jelly. With offering in hand, Hiko started to approach the leviathan when he got 10 meters near the egg the mother started growl until Hiko held out his Royal Jelly.
Since honeycomb was all blood, proteins, and fat any creature would want to eat it. Very slowly Hiko approached the mother until he was only two feet away from her maw, tossing the jelly towards her the Leviathan ate the treat in one bite. While the mother was occupied Hiko activated healing hands before moving towards the egg, with two fingers Hiko traced the long crack running across the egg. It took a while to heal the entire wound.
When he was done a pale line stood out against the dark blue, the mother leviathan looked at Hiko making the sad sound in her throat again the mother nudged the egg towards him. Not wanting to experiment what would happen if he put a live egg in his inventory Hiko summoned his ants to take the egg to the ship.
Turning back to the mother Hiko saw that she had already died, while he didn't feel sad about her death Hiko was disappointed he couldn't fight such a creature. Closing the notification that he had completed the quest Hiko summoned a hundred ants to eat the body of the leviathan, but he told them to leave the heart intact.
Hiko left the cave as it would take his ant's hours to make progress on the incredibly tough scales of sea dragon, not in the mood to hunt Hiko swam to the surface looking around at the six total sea king corpses. Since he was running low on nen Hiko couldn't summon his ant so he made a mental note to make summon more ants.
Looking towards the ship Hiko saw that the girls were all starring at the eight-foot-tall egg, climbing on board caused all the girls to rush towards him. Hiko was forced to catch a very excited Nami as she threw herself at him before kissing him deeply, " Tonight your all mine. " Nami smiled as Hiko grabbed her ass, " Now, now not right now even though I love the enthusiasm. "
Putting the redhead down Hiko went through the same thing with Alvida and Nojiko even though they were more restrained than his first wife. Hiko was surprised none of them asked about the egg, " We need to get the egg in water it's wont hatch otherwise. " As if seeing it for the first time Nojiko looked the thing up and down, " Is that what it is, I thought it was a weird rock. So you just found a random Sea King egg. "
Shaking his head Hiko traced his fingers along the hard shell, " Not exactly you see, " Hiko then proceeded to tell them about how he found the wounded leviathan and the rest of the ordeal, " I wonder where it got the wound from, " Alvida said as tried to imagine what the creature would even look like, " Probably some famous pirate. "
Nami turned to Hiko, " So what are we going to do with it. " Hiko smiled, " Isn't it obvious we're going to raise it so we have our own personal Sea King. " Nojiko looked at him like he was crazy while Nami was used to Hiko's insane plans, for Alvida it only made sense her master should control such a powerful beast. " How are we going to raise that thing, it must eat a ton. " Hiko was about to respond when notification interrupted him.

Deciding to raise a leviathan is no easy task, one of the most aggressive species of dragon the leviathan will naturally try to assert it's dominance over any creature.
