Xavier pov:

~A FEW WEEKS AGO~

"I think Carson Jaxon's son has something to do with this."

"Derik Jaxon?" 

"Yes sir, I fear he may be causing problems for us in the future." 

"And whose fault is this?" 

Dad's voice was heard again and everyone including my manager turned their heads towards me although no one dared to point me out. In this underworld showing a little mercy apparently becomes a 'fault'. 

My fault was just to spare the life of a scared boy who looked just like me. I killed his father in my defense but he was helpless and weaponless. I couldn't shoot him. I gave him a chance to get away from his family's inherited darkness and start a new life. 

It wasn't my fault that he chose the dark path instead of running away. 

"What?" I spat back rudely.
