Bab 71: Might as well die gracefully

Isabella's pov:

"I am afraid you won't like the answer." someone confirmed my suspicions. His voice was husky and he spoke in a creepy tone, like those psychopaths in the movies. 

"Are you DJ?" 

"Are you Isabella Adler?" He mocked me in return, his tone stone cold. I don't know why but I felt like he already knew the answer. 

I didn't answer however I sat a little straighter, my head held up high. His words made me remember that I am Isabella Adler. I was a brave, fearless girl my whole life. I remembered that I am the daughter of David Adler. I will not bow in front of these people. 

If I were to die here, might as well die gracefully. 

I heard footsteps nearing me and I made myself mentally ready for anything that could happen next. The thing that happened next wasn't expected at all. 

He removed my blindfold.
