Isabella's pov:
"Oh I heard Aunt Emma was calling you." I tried changing the subject and backed away a little more.
It seemed the best thing to say at that time.
I don't understand why my stupid brain doesn't bother to serve its purpose when it's actually needed.
He looked like he would murder anyone and I couldn't help but be scared of him. He closed his eyes seemingly trying to sooth his anger and I took this opportunity to run away.
As soon as I moved towards the door he grabbed me from behind and my body collided with his hard torso.
"Don't run away from me Isabella." he whispered near my ear. This time his tone wasn't demanding but it seemed more of a request.
I couldn't see his face but I felt his warm breath on my neck. His arm was around my stomach holding me back.
"Xavier please let me go." I said weakly. I wasn't sacred anymore but I was weak.
Weak by the way my name sounded from his lips.
