Bab 82: When A Snake Enters Your House You Don't Invite It To Eat Dinner, You Cut Off It's Head
Mu Feng brought out the ring again and asked
"Will you marry me?"
"No...I don't even know if you'll really be able to get back everything" Hua Ruolan answered.
"Why don't we wait until you're able to get the Mu Enterprise back on it's feet then we can talk of marriage"
Mu Feng thought about it and he agreed.
Since she was the one who suggested it , it means that she's willing.
Hua Ruolan stayed and tried to get some more information but Mu Feng didn't say anything else apart from things related to their marriage. He had even began imagining their wedding. After staying with him for a while, Hua Ruolan went back home. She had barely taken two steps inside the living room when she received a great shock.
Hua Er Bao was sitting comfortably on the sofa while holding a magazine. Sensing that someone was staring at her, Hua Er Bao raised up her head.
"Cousin" Hua Er Bao said as she stood up.
"Er Bao?...what are you doing here?" Hua Ruolan asked as she walked towards her.
"I didn't have anywhere to go to that's why I came here" Hua Er Bao answered.
"Why?...what happened to you?" Hua Ruolan asked with a mixed expression.
"I've been feeling very sick since that day so I went to the hospital everyday and now I'm a bit better.
My mother is out of the country so she asked me to come stay here with you so that I wouldn't feel lonely and depressed...so I called Lu Qian and asked me if I could come here and he said yes" Hua Er Bao explained.
"He said yes?" Hua Ruolan asked in shock.
Hua Er Bao nodded.
"What people were saying at Little Jin's birthday was a lie...I would never do anything bad to you" Hua Er Bao said as she looked at Hua Ruolan with pitiful eyes.
Hua Ruolan nodded.
"Where is my husband?" Hua Ruolan deliberately called Lu Qian her husband so that she can remind Hua Er Bao that she is still his wife and she is nothing more than just a guest.
Hua Er Bao's face turned ugly when she heard Hua Ruolan call Lu Qian her husband.
She wished she could strangle her right now but she quickly smiled and answered
"He's in the study room...I don't think you should disturb him...you know how he is...he doesn't like it when people disturb him"
Hua Ruolan was surprised.
'Did she just tell me not to disturb my own husband?'
She scoffed and said
"I'm his wife...even if I disturb him from now till tomorrow... I'm sure he wouldn't mind"
Hua Ruolan left the living room and went straight to Lu Qian's study. She closed the door with a bang which shocked Lu Qian.
"You agreed to let her stay here?....when a snake enters your house you don't invite it to eat dinner, you cut off its head.
