Wei Zhengsheng suddenly grabbed her wrist. Yu Daiyu quivered and a raging fury suddenly rose in her heart as she tried to shake him off. "Let go!

Wei Zhengsheng held her arm tightly and looked at her. "Daiyu!"

"Let go!" Yu Daiyu was very angry and glared at him. "Wei Zhengsheng, let go of me!"

Wei Zhengsheng sighed. He gently pulled her into his arms, but she just stood there, unwilling to lean into his arms, unwilling to approach him. Her eyes were filled with rejection and indifference.

He held her wrist with one hand and encircled her waist with the other to keep her from pulling away. He looked into her eyes and whispered, "I'm not questioning you, I'm just worried about you. Please don't do this, okay?"

However, Yu Daiyu turned away and refused to look at him. The hand he was holding was still trying to break free from his grip.
