She had said all she could say, but Xian Guiying understood that they were actually hoping for her to accompany the Old Man more, to let him think it through and not let him die with the grievance in his heart. Everyone hoped that he could live a few more years, or perhaps even longer.

Xian Guiying didn't say anything. Qin Gengxin put his arm around her shoulders, pulling her into his embrace.

"Guiying?" When they arrived at the ward door, Zhan An held a kettle of water in her hand. When she saw them, she looked at them in surprise, then looked at Qin Gengxin, who was standing next to her daughter.
