Bab 134: The Engagement Banquet I

Since Jiang Ruolan had taken a leave for 5 days for the business trip to the G City, she decided to spend her day leisure inside her house.

When she picked up her phone on the table, she accidentally looked at the call log. Among the missed calls, there were two missed calls from Secretary Du and Assistant Bai, three from Xian Zihao, and the rest were all from Jiang Yijun.

From the looks of it, Xian Zihao only called her on the first day she came back, and he didn't call her again for the past two or three days.

On second thought, he wasn't the sort of man to be overly fussy. Perhaps he had guessed that she had seen — that scene, or perhaps he had never taken her seriously. 

Three phone calls might have been his bottom line.

Jiang Ruolan also knew that it wasn't a good idea to leave without saying goodbye. She didn't have the capital to be headstrong, she was also so weak and powerless to face all that.
